Patch With No Name is multichannel installation by Rian Treanor presented at the Terraforma Shape Showcase 2020.
Using a bespoke system made in Max/MSP, audiences are invited to automatically cut up and obliterate the early bleep techno piece 'Track With No Name'. Participants can trigger and control extreme pattern deformations that wildly modulate from absolute silence to 5,000BPM+, creating impossibly dense rhythmic structures that play with the idea of physical deficit and role of interdependency within musical processes.
